Steve Murray is Chief Pilot for Velocity Solutions. He serves as Captain on our corporate aircraft and oversees all flight department operations for the company.

Prior to joining Velocity Solutions in 2004, Steve was a pilot for Atlantic Southeast Airlines for nearly four years. With ASA, he flew regional jets and Brasilia turboprop aircraft. Steve has an Associates Degree in Aviation Management and Career Pilot Technology from Lenoir Community College in Kinston, NC as well as a BS in Computer Science from UNC Wilmington.

Steve is a native of Wilmington, NC where he lives with his wife, Amber, and their son. When he’s not in the cockpit, Steve enjoys spending time at the beach, selling things on eBay, and rolling the dice at a craps table.
